I remember reading about ClearType somewhere onths ago (probably NewScientist) but i hadnt seen it. It;s bloody amazing - it makes fonts chunky yet - strangly not bold - and veryy very clear !

A nasty little turdish peice of spyware has insdtalled itself on my machine - its called Ezula and when you remove it it just leave behind bits which can re-install it ! Lavasofts Ad-aware appears to have nailed it though !
