Weve just got back from wandering arund some lakes (which were unfeasibly pretty), but we got lost and ended up on a private golfcource - and got driven back ON A GOLF BUGGY! How cool is that. My thanks to matt - our unknowing driver - who got us back to the hostel.

Guiess what Ive just done …. My first Bungy Jump ! A-bloody-mazxing ! Mnay thanks to the guys (er.. and the girls) at Bungy Zone for throwing me off a bridge ove 150ft high - I had a great time. Little bro also did one (actually he went first), and neither of us have any ill affects to speakof (as yet). Im actually still high - I would go back right now - they pick you up in town if u phone them and ferry u back too. QUALITY.
Last night we ended up oni the bar under the hostel- which turns out to be owned by bikers and generally a bit of a rough place (think The Sally for all of yiou who miss her). All was fun, I got warned off one bloked womern (I wasnt), got a phone number for a man who promises to show us the best strip clubs in Whistler (I wont) and missed Kurt Russel - whod been eatting dinner there earlier (I dont care).
All in all a cracking 24 hours - tomorrow IM off to tafino - (cant spell) to see some whales - then its probably back to Vancouver and then off to the moutains (Jasper maybe).
This is being types from some freaky ass linux consol thats in mock-wood and costs a squid for 15mnis of online time ! Anyway - im away for the next month in canada so blogging will be infrent and the comidy lkinks wont be. will post ohotos when i get back.
And once again were in Vancouver - the forrest of glass towers - Staying in a diffeent hostel - The Cambie - run by the same group (eg. bikers) as the cambie in Ninimo - and equally as cool. The girl on the fornt desk in far far too cute - but hey - life could be worse. We might head off to Whisler tomorrow - maybe not. Id like to head to Jasper but the train is nearly 200 quid return which is just rediculious.
Ive just noticed that opp the hostel theres a half rpice computer book shop - as if I havent got enough to carry round with me - gods now tempting me with cheap books. Its not even funny.
Interesting fact of the day - BCs 3rd largest export - by volume - after wood and fish - is cannabis !Id have never guessed by a logger (the PC name for lumberjacks after Monty Pythons song) was telling me that over on the islands there are huge amounts being grown in and through the woods - the federals cant see it from the air becuase of the trees. Cunning. Apparently the loggin guys have running battles with the dope growers becuase the dope growers dont want certain areas to be felling - at least not at the current time. And I thought the Cluquot Sound demonstrations were all about nature reservation !

Not got a lot of time and this keyboard suvks. Weve just got back from Bear Watvhing ! It wasnot going well (i feared a repeat of whale watvhing), but then a black bear came down to the waterfront about 3 meters away and prceeded to do bear like things (flipping rovks looking for crabs, growling, pawing at the crows) - which was amazing. We also saw a couple of small sea otters - shit 20secs to go - later kids.

The hot springs are amazing though - the water comes out at 50 degrees C - and runs down through 4 pools towards the sea. After getting completely roasted I then juimped into the ocean and a)Nearly sliced my ass off on a mussle bed and b)nearly went into heart failure. It was damed cold.
We were going to go out bear watching today - but the weather is pants so weve decided to sortout our travelling details and get a haircut instead. Maybe tomorrow we can go hunting for grizzllies !

Im back at this odd terminal thing - its wqoodened fronted - appears to be running IE (but desnt allow many things inc cookies - so i cant check hotornot Grrr) - and it has the shittiest keyboard I have ever used. ive just beaten my little brother twice at pool - I think that ive only ever beaten him twice in totaL before - bonza. Wedding to go to on saturday - should be fun - muchous looking forward to it. Caught a whole heap of machreal yesterday and got to eatthem for dinner and then again for breakfast ! Magic. Wles is a bit crap on the whole thogugh - and the weather is pants.
