Im been busy with my camera phone. I should et round to buying a new digital camera to replace my baby which exploded, but for the mean time heres what caught my eye today/this weekend. Appologies for the terrible quality, but its not bad conidering how thy were taken, and to be fair, it adds an ineresting perspective on the world I think.

The globe where I went to an Arabic style Seuk, organised by a loose friend, which was, to be honest, rubbish, but a good idea.

Graffitti that entertained me while drunk last night!

The evil monster I ate for tea this evening! I beat the bestie despite those teeth!

light up present hanging in a tree on the way to work. You cant see the pikies throwing sticks at them in the photo

Im photoing a man taking photographs in the Tate Modern this weekend.

The Improved Sorting Algorithm Demo gives visual explainations of how sorting algorithms work. Wonderful for comuter norberts who ask silly questions like “why doesnt it just sort it quicker” and thier ilk.,

Im sitting on a train, blogging via the new onboard wireless network service! Wiicked. Pointlessly slow for online working or mobile VPN etc, but good enough to get to my mail and the blog. I used to have to dictate to a word doc and upload later but this is class.

Posted in Uncategorized at 3:55 pm by coldclimate

Id not thought of Easyworld in a good 4 years. In my first year I went to see them in Newcastle union, and had a great night. I nearly bought their albm, but I couldnt really aford it, and so I left it.

I ran across it this afternoon in a 4 for 10 quif deal in the second hand shop on my road. Id forgotten how intermatly music and memory are entertwined - and how a single song can make you think of people youe not seen in years etc. So heres to Easyworld 100 Weight, and to Alex Peryman, Scott, Kat and a whole range of people Ive been meaning to write to and not found the time.

I suddenly noticed how the blog has changed (apart from the name, which I might change again - this one feels a little desolate). Ive started putting personal crap and photo and stuf on here which i never used to do, but bugger it - enough people who know me read this - and enough people who read this know me - so I cant see what difference it makes.

Anyway - photos from last night, and friday night.

Friday night: a bunch of mates from Uni meet up in a pub you can get to by following a greenline on the pavement thats for visually buggered people to get to an eye hospital. Also youcan reverse the route and get to the tube when bollocksed. Brilliant.

Ali trys to look cultured (the irony being he is one of the most cultured people I know. At times.)

Nick holds his breath until Hannah tells him something. I cant remember what it was, but I think it involved knickers.

Hannah not telling Nick anything.

A fucking good photo - even if i used my cameras phone.

Drunken confessions about love and girls and mates, things said and things best left unsaid.

A paw made from shells. Not that impressive, but amused me.

Either horribly insightful - or silly shapes made out of shells by a drunk man.

I love the idea of Parents strike over idle children but when you read the following …
“”Weve tried reverse psychology, upside down psychology, spiral psychology and nothing has motivated them for any length of time,” said Mrs Barnard, 45.” you have to think to yourslef - only in America could thinking called Spiral psychology exist!

Need motivation - use a foot up the arse!

Whlst at a community eve

Posted in Uncategorized at 10:34 am by coldclimate

Whlst at a community event in London I met up with an old uni friend (and all round good bloke) - Ben! Escaping suits and stuff we made ou way to a cocktail bar in Convent Garden (yeah yeah - i know - but fuck it its nice!) and consummes several very very good cocktails before ordering the inest burger I have ever eatten. I was even asked how I would like t cooked (!), the answer obviously being “burnt and blackened”. It was marvelous.

After a minor trip on the underground (when in London do as they do etc), we embarked on the finest try of transport - the Tuk Tuk! Queue drunk boys with camera phones trying to get people to wave, and taking pictures. briliant stuff.
