An open offer to Pete Doherty
Last week I finished John Peels book, where at one point he muses on the idea that he could have helped Elvis and Curt Kobain by getting them involved in family life and living on the farm. Anyway having read The Sun Online this morning, I’m making the same offer. I have no idea how to get in touch with Mr Doherty, so I’m posting here, on the offchance.
If you want to do somehting about your life before somehting happens, get in touch, and I’ll do what I can. Come and live for a bit on the farm in the middle of nowhere, and spend some time building bonfires, and cleaning up bits of woodland, and running all the tracks, and having soup for lunch. If you don’t do something soon, things could well spiral further, and even if thats what you want at the moment, humour me and give it a chance.
