Yes - a major political party (ish) has even got behind the fcat that the new DRM mechnism in Vista is a big hairy piles of man ball bags. The Green Party has declared “Future archaeologists will be able to identify a ‘Vista Upgrade Layer’ when they go through our landfill sites.“

Yes ladies and gentlemen, it is finished. It’s not brilliantly accurate, and I’ll add more detail for each of the pubs (yes - this is a pub crawl) later this week. However, until then, behold the majesty of The Monopoly Board Bar Crawl Google Map. Oh yes.

I’ve spent most of the day coding a custom importer from blogger to Wordpress. I’ve ended up hacking it together by
- exporting blogger with an easily parsable structure - no comments, +++’s at the start of each artice and |||’s between items. Monthly archiving set on, and a full republish.
- custom php script to read each xml archive, create a date stamp from the file name, pulling all the content, and squirting it into the db again.
- redoing it many many times.
Satisfying way to spend a day where I was feeling fucking terrible.

My email just got read out on BBC Radio 4s Saturday Live (which I quietly like). Prince Micheal didn’t answer my question about coming to stay!

I like the smell of Play-doh, but I really really wouldn’t buy it as an aftershave. However, for those of you who would….PLAY-DOH COLOGNE SPRAY.

Hmm, I’m wondering about posting the whole blog (including live journal) across to wordpress. I’v installed it (dead easy), and it seems easy to make pretty, and it can import rss (so in theory I don’t have to come up with a funky cross-poster), but I do like the privacy of locked posts in livejournal, and whilst I could still do that on wordpress, people would have to join up at my site, and I’d have no way to monitor it.
So what should I do? Maybe I should make the main site wordpress and keep livejournal for the personal bits? randomcat.co.uk does that, but I like the current setup because I have a copy of everything on my disk.
Oh the choices.

Yes it would appear that the knuckle draggers are at it again. I can’t decide which is my favorite quote…”Condoms don’t belong in school, and neither does Al Gore. He’s not a schoolteacher,” or the truely wonderful “The Bible says that in the end times everything will burn up, but that perspective isn’t in the DVD”
Thats before we get round to the fact that this man’s name is…Frosty Hardison. Yes, Frosty. As in snowman. Normally I wouldn’t stoop to making fun of peoples names (well, I would but anyway), but when willpeople realise that just because they don’t like what they are hearing, doesn’y mean it’s not possibly true. Thats why the film is called “An Inconvenient Truth.”

Whilst looking for Papa Christmas, who I saw at Bookclub I ran across photos by Diamond Geyser, who coincidentally seems to have the same online monicer as diamond geezer who has my firend catbo as a reference, but also has Dave Gorman who turns out not only to be very funny, and very clever (he spotted the monster word on the giant boggle on stage at Bookclub) but is also an amazing photographer. I love the “cities by night” photos.

Tonights blender experiment - cucumber, pear and lime smoothy. Yes - just wedge a whole cucumber and a whole pear into the blend, with a splash of liquid to get it started (I used apple juice), blen until smooth, pass through a sive, add a squeeze of lime juice, and the job is.. well. actually veryu good!
Smells of lime and cucumber, tastes of pear and herbelness, can’t be anything but healthy.
