Early morning link-o-rama

Posted in randomosity at 7:45 am by coldclimate

Got up and packed this morning (long train later tonight) and got to work early, so plenty of time to go through my Google Reader feeds.  Much tasty goodness in there too.

I love the idea of 7 in 7, 7 creative projects, one every day.  Sort of artistic, sort of techie, all good clean Maker fun.  Today’s open source arduino clock night come in very handy too.

I’ve always had a soft spot for big evil BMW’s.  There something fabulously evil about them, and I’d love to own one.  Sadly the ones I want are painfully expencive, and it’s unlikely I’ll ever buy one.  This does not stop me dribbling onto my desk about their new concept car for two reasons.  1) It’s it probably the most threatening looking fucker I’ve seen in years.  2) You can change it’s shape.  Yep, you heard right.

I need to start taking my camera out into the mountains at night for some super long exposure photos.  These of the aurua borials blew me away.

Beurocracy.  You can’t live with it, and you can’t remove it.  Dr Crippen has an excellent example of why management consultants are a stupid stpuid thing to have involved in the health service.  That siad, check out that completely amazing coloured fish-bone analysis on the wall in coloured post its though!  Thats a work of art (*will be self-flagilating later to clense soul*)

I concur 100% on BMW. The only ones I fancy are things I will NEVER be able to afford (M5, I’m looking at you…), but that concept car is sweet as a nut (in spite of the hyperbole…)
